My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends-
It gives a lovely light!

Is this a woodcut? It is lovely...and your haiku is quite Arthurian. Have you ever read the Rosemary Sutcliff King Arthur trilogy? Or her book, Sword at Sunset? All wonderful fiction, told as only she can tell it.
You have full moon in it.. so I liked it..
do visit for my haikus..
And that full moon is beckoning...
Blessed One, Haiku My Heart!
Stunning picture.
All the best, Boonie
