the road less taken
is often the road to love
true love is hidden
love does not bear roots
that lie deep within your soul
lust,lost,want and need
lovers weave tight, weft and warp
turn and turn in lovers hearts

My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends-
It gives a lovely light!

Some great words in that. Nicely done.
love does not bear roots
that lie deep within your soul
But then won't it be the other way round too..
wonderfully woven words full of ancient wisdom.
How beautiful! Your magical words lend feeling to these deep thoughts!
what a lovely poem- I love that the weaving reference- clever!
What a beautiful and moving piece...the heart becomes a unique and complex road. Lovely imagery in this poem.
I believe love has no roots because it must go where it will.
Thanks for this.
Love is an inigma wrapped in a mystery. Yet more easy to find than we might imagine. The love that we give is proportional to the love we receive in life. I really liked your poem.
