My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends-
It gives a lovely light!

I really like the imagery in your first two lines
and the hope in the last~
Thank you Tammie. I am glad you liked it.

As only what can be dreamed of is possible to become reality, this might be a promise in the making.
Please have a great Wednesday.

What a lovely Haiku Melanie...beautifully written. It's always nice to visit you and your lovely words.
May the waiting bear fruit!
Waiting too is romantic!
Melanie, I love this!!
Dreams within
waiting to unfold—
set them free!
My Haiku Heights
Oh, Melanie, so real and beautiful yet so elusive with a very anguishing wait here. This is life described in three in a three-line haiku, isn't it?
Sorry I'm so late in getting back here, my week was very busy and hectic.
..
Melanie i love this one. I agree that we are fellows of the same clan. Being oppositional as i am, i also never put much stock in horoscope profiles. However, upon reading the description, i know i am a true Gemini in many forms. Thank you for you kind words and i am certain that our paths will cross again in the future. I identify with the somber mood of your work and find it inspiring.
