Eventually, the ice melts and the water flows again. Sometimes slower than we wish.

Profound lines. I find that sometimes the path I've chosen is a difficult one. I suppose this is to give me pause -- so I can confirm for myself if this is really where I want to go and if I'm willing to take up the challenge.

Thanks for sharing, Melanie.

Yes LR, sometimes it is too slow, in fact sometimes it is frozen in time. Thanks for coming by.

Such a lovely piece - it tells so much and shows a reality that hits the heart.

Hi Melanie, I used to be a 'winding stream.' I like to think that I still am but really I merged with another, a straighter one, stream.
Thank you, this is a little chilling for me. Goosebumps perhaps?
