Old Oak Tree

a proud old oak tree
bent by time and clinging vines
supported rough bark

dressed with sweet roses
it remembered summers warmth
shimmering in light

You very cleverly depicted the usual old oak tree look. A semblance of a physical toughness and of being around for some while. Nice haiku Melanie!
