My candle burns at both ends;
It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends-
It gives a lovely light!

Beautiful. Cotton sheets dried by the sun smells so wonderful. Even though mines comes out of the dryer I still iron them.
I enjoy the poem and the photo!
Ah yes.. freshly starched and dried laundry smell so good.. They emanate a certain warmth that is strangely reassuring...
Thank all for your kind comments and thank to OOI for the invitation to your site. I have added to my poetry sites.

I saw this on my own line quite a few times this summer! Excellent!
Here's how to leave a link. Just remember that you have to use < and > instead of the parentheses.
(a href="your URL")Title of your poem(/a)
To copy your URL just go to your archives and click on the post you want, then go to your address line, highlight it, then right click to copy it. Then you can just paste it into the above.
Hope this helps! It took me forever to figure it out!
Love the simplicity in this one, Melanie...fresh...crisp...
i realized i need to put you into you blog roll on my page as i have not been receiving any updates...:)
