Cassandras Tears

her beauty iridescent in the twilight
form and figure at the moons mercy
long lived is she,but cares not for such

willowy and graceful, she blends in to deep dark places
her is sorrow knows no boundary
her pity no rest, forever she weeps
forever she weeps.
weep shide weep
strong is her power, sweet her voice
music with which she binds
all fools that seek her

she weeps for mankind
those whom seek favor and magic
still her nimble fingers fly faster and faster
warp and weft, she whom entangles the hearts of men
which each snap of thread another heart is hers

weep Cassandra, weep for all the lost
they did not hear your lament
weep for those who stumble across your path.
