Haiku Heights

We shall over come

in a little while
in a little while
we shall over come in glory

Haku Heights

a happy new year
to all my Jewish friends
light your lights of love

Fair Oberon

through the mists and clouds
lies fair Oberon's island
sweet one come to me

I will call thee home
singing your fairy name
greet me with the dawn

my heart longs for you
come escape this magic place
brake free of all chains

sail away with me
on a glistening sea shell
to a green forest

together we'll roam
through fields of thick golden rod
making love each day

Hiku Heights

fresh smell of new mown hay
brings back whiffs of summers glory
yet the wind howls and grips my soul

autumn, in all its splendor
creeps slowly in my heart
another fall without you

Grass Beneath My feet

I walk in cool grass
fading quickly as fall comes
oh silver bells ring

In a tiny space
last of the queen of summer
wraps around me tight

fall comes readily
entwining my bodies past
soon I will be ice

solid unmoving I wait
till the pipers come
and fall melts away

Haiku Heights

the Magdalene once
dearest one of our lord god
held all creation

One Single Impression

My hands open the curtains of your being
I have loved you long these many years
Our hearts entwined, growing together,inseparable

I have memorized the touch of your fragrant silken skin
Each curve a tender path that I must travel
As I reach for your soft mellow body

you tremble ever so slightly as if a cool wind covered your heart
Oh, open your door my love, be my constant need, fill my desire
As I hold you close, I feel your softness melt into me

*this is an older poem that I have reworked

Shadow Shot Sunday

shadows fall softly
across the cold bed we shared
shadows grip my heart

oh time please spare me
heal this heart so full of pain
come early sweet spring

Conversations

like the echo of my dreams
I hear the conversations of our past
so long ago we spoke in whispers
and held our hearts tightly
in the evening twilight hours.sweet words abounded
hush hush my love and wait till dawn
wait for loves caress lying beside me.

now those conversations are faded
lost in the winter storms that gather.
snow piles deep around our special place
the garden dead and long rotted as is
our love our letters now but tatters.
bound in the old tin box that I kept them in
cold all is cold and empty, empty as your
side of the bed.Yet still your scent, lavender lingers

Haiku Heights.......Relaxed form

at last I see
elusive until now
their silver tears

meshed in dreams
a soft garden path
steal away steal away all pain

Haiku Heights

symphony I hear
each time your voice calls my name
fill me with your love

Sensational Haiku Wednesday

function lies so still
till wheels turn ever backwards
all begins again

One Single Impression

my heart slowly beats
each day that you are not here
pain echos your name

form of man is he
yet fear of all he does see
what serpent lies here

Boredom

boredom comes and goes
sea shells still echo in time
summer moves so slow

Meaning

what meaning has love
by what starlight do we walk
this rose laden path

a meaning so deep
our hearts are pierced with longing
 notice not we time

Confidence

with the morns first light
confidence pales in shadows
we are left alone

Once I Walk This Earth

once I walked this earth
tasted all its dreams
once my heart knew love
and yet I lost it all
to late now I sleep

Summer Shimmers

bright flowers drip honey
sun heat cools in the shade
time passes slowly

Old Oak Tree

a proud old oak tree
bent by time and clinging vines
supported rough bark

dressed with sweet roses
it remembered summers warmth
shimmering in light

Adornments Of Time

the road has grown dim
my pace now so tentative
dark shapes follow me
gray now is the earth
i encrusted with black scum
bones worn and brittle
weary now it comes
softly all the adornments
of this world beyond

News

Hello dear friends and readers. I am home once more.About eight weeks ago I fell and broke both my wrist, shoulder and humerus bone. Ouch! I am healing slowly so it will be awhile before I am up to writing again.
I look forward to writing and reading all of your poems. My husband is typing this for me. Till then, write on my friends.

restless flows the stream
running wild the oceans roar
a storm pulls shells near
behold the king o the deep
living as he pulls

so near

The Grave Yard

gray clouds gather
casting shadows
over the ancient graveyard
tombstones weep elemental moss
tears of long ago line the stones
covering neglected graves worn
to nothing as the wind sounds hollow
in this forgotten place
in a mirror round
illusions dart in and out
shadows swiftly move
