windmills in my mind
spinning silky webs serene
sensuous colors
shooting stars arise
tick behind my gray blue eyes
kaleidoscope shines
moonbeams bend and sway
windmills ever spinning bright
long into the night

It will not last the night;
But ah, my foes, and oh, my friends-
It gives a lovely light!

Beautiful and emotive set of haikus...does it speak of day dreams or something deeper?
kaleidoscope shines
I love that line!!!
Kaleidoscopes really do it for me!
the first is the best. loved that most in its visualness :)
very sultry Melanie, it provides great imagery it needs no photo to support it, well done!
Mesmerizing flow in this one, like watching a windmill's blades slowly spin.
