The Notebook

A note book kept close to my heart. Pages filled with words of love. Your words once so freely given. Gone in a moment of fate and time. I read and reread the notebook with pain in my heart and tears in my eyes. For long ago karma took you from me.
At night I lie with this notebook on your side of the bed.As once I lie next to your heart. Remembering our life together is all I have. And times shadow will come to claim me soon, as will go this notebook into my grave.

claimed by shadows all
to soon;my heart grieves for you
I would follow now

True love is timeless, it lingers on. It soothes the soul so that life goes on.
